Yellowstone was developed as a cooperative effort between the University of Florida and Crookham Company. This variety has done well in the Southern region and in Northeast regions as well. Yellowstone has tested well for good emergence, a high level of consistency, a nice dark green package, good kernel contrast, an easy snap, and it maintains these qualities in a wide range of conditions while delivering a high eating quality.
