State of the Company 2010
Crookham Company’s sweet corn catalog for 2010/2011 is enclosed and the
Company thanks you for another year of business.
This past year has seen expansion in several aspects of seed production and
conditioning. This includes better synchronicity between the electronic
eyes, hand sorting and the gravity tables. Onion production continues to
develop and rise as every step of the process is constantly monitored and
managed to maximize output. The company expanded its quality assurance
and oversight programs, overlapping the dimensions of responsibility to
increase quality control and quality standards. A bar code system is being
installed to step-up instant access to inventory and tracking.
It has been a great year for research in onions, sweet corn and popcorn.
The company has had a ceaseless concentration on all aspects of breeding,
from disease expansion to setting new standards in eating quality and yield.
New trials have been added to generate more customer interactions and
input and we encourage you to visit us at our home nursery this summer in
Caldwell, Idaho.
This dedication, experience, and persistence, will ensure that Crookham
Company will be servicing the seed industry in the next 100 years. And
again, we thank you for your business and we look forward to working with
you in 2010 and hope that you will help celebrate our 100th anniversary in
2011.
